  • What is your Cancellation Policy?

I ask that you please make changes to your appointment 24 hours notice.

If you do cancel or reschedule after that we will charge you 50% of the total cost of the treatment.

  • Where should I park?

There is free 2 hour street parking right infront of the house most of the time.

If for any reason you need a gauraunteed parking spot as close as possible, just let me know and I will make sure the driveway is clear for you. It is no problem at all, I just ask for some notice to prepare it accordingly.

During the winter months let us know if you are driving and we can make sure the driveway is clear for you.

  • Should I leave a tip?

There is no need for a tip at all so dont feel the need to leave one.

  • What happens during my first visit?

You will arrive at our location and be greeted by Sebastian, you will then leave your shoes and jackets at the entrance. We will walk upstairs to the treatment room where we will chat about the treatment and your needs. I will then leave the room to let you undress to your level of comfort. I will knock on the door to see if you are ready tos tart the treatment.

Once the treatment is over I will leave the room to let you get changed, when your ready you can open the door. Back in the treatment room we will discuss how the treatment went and any future recommendations. As well as take payment.

We will go back to the front door and say our goodbyes, until the next time we meet.

  • Should I wear a mask?

This is totally your choice. If you prefer to wear a mask then I am happy to follow suit and wear one with you.

Please let us know whatever your preference is.

  • What should I wear?

While any clothing would work we suggest wearing loose comfortable clothing to make sure you are comfortable when you leave.

  • What if I am uncomfortable during my treatment?

We aim to make everyone comfortable in our space. It is our number one priority.

But if for ANY reason whatsoever you are not physically or mentally comfortable please let us know ASAP so we can find a solution.

We take no offense as a business or person, we want everyone to feel supported during our time together.

  • Will I be sore afterwards?

Some soreness can be normal. It is called Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS). It is delayed because you usually don’t feel it until the day after the treatment.

While this can be common it should never last more then 48 hours post treatment and it should never cause any kind of actual pain.

It feels like you had a good workout the day before.

  • What kind of lotion/gel/oil do you use?

We have all kinds available, some are hypoallergenic some are oil based. Oil based ones are better for our health but they do have a scent if you are sensitive.

Coconut and/or sesame are the base of the oils we use.

If you have any kind of preference/allergies please let us know before the treatment.

  • Do I need to talk during my treatment?

Once we start the treatment the only time we ask you to speak is if something about the treatment is not ideal for you.

Otherwise Sebastian will follow your lead and talk when you do.

Ayurveda Questions

Questions related to Ayurveda and Ayurvedic treatments at Viveda.

  • Should I shower when I get home?

While you dont need to shower, we would recommend it before you go to bed.

This is just to clean off any residue before it gets on your sheets.

  • How is an Ayurvedic treatment different?

    There are two main differences.

    1. We use more oil in an Ayurvedic treatment as its the real medicine in a treatment.

    2. Because we dont want all the oil to be absorbed by sheets or towels, there is less covering of the body with this treatment. (of course any sensitive areas can be covered with towels)

  • What should I wear for an Ayurvedic treatment?

Due to the amount of oil being used we strongly suggest wearing clothing you wouldnt mind getting mildly oily.

During the treatment you can wear your own undergarments or you can wear our provided “tanga” which is essentially  a string/thong undergarment for the genitals.

  • What kind of oil do you use?

We have a variety of oils that can help any body type.

The base of the oils are typically Sesame or Coconut.

There is some small amounts of Olive & Sunflower.

There are also a handful of herbs cooked into each blend to make it herbal oil.

If you need the full ingredient list just ask us as they vary greatly.
